After a hectic start to the new year (travel, Steve’s 50th birthday, the kidney-stone-that-wasn’t, first days of school…and on…), it was great to get back to our usual Sunday morning routine: 8 a.m. mass at Saint Richard, followed by communal donuts, lemonade, and coffee before Sunday school for all. This week’s Timely Topics series featured Deeneaus Polk from the Mississippi Economic Policy Center, who shared MEPC’s research and goals related to financial aid opportunities for low-income students in Mississippi.
